The Role
To be responsible for the safe and efficient utilisation of all electrical equipment on site. This role will involve, but is not limited to:
- Work to a high safety standard and ensure compliance protocols are completed.
- Responsible for the efficient utilisation of all electrical equipment and plant.
- Respond to out of hours calls on a rotational basis.
- Identify and implement improvements.
- Involvement in project work.
- Modify and improve procedures and programmes as required.
- Ensure that all documentation is kept up to date.
- Installation and commissioning of equipment and services as requested.
- Inclusion in the site call out rota if required.
- To assist electricians where required on electrical breakdowns throughout the plant.
- Adopt and maintain good engineering and housekeeping procedures in all work areas.
- Identify and report any signs of equipment failure.
- Assist with other works when and where required as directed by Electrical Supervisor, commensurate to the level of the post.

What We Require from You
The successful candidate will hold relevant electrical qualifications. PLC experience preferred. Allen Bradley Industrial Maintenance Experience (Preferred but not essential). The candidate must have strong health and safety awareness and the ability to work unsupervised.
