We are looking for a relationship-focused Senior Client Due Diligence (CDD) Officer to join our Compliance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a CDD, AML or Financial Crime professional who enjoys balancing business needs with regulatory requirements while building strong partnerships across the organisation. Your new role: You'll act as the first point of escalation for complex due diligence matters, support the development of a small team and play a key role in ensuring our client and supplier due diligence processes remain robust, effective and fit for purpose.

What you'll be doing:

  • Overseeing client and supplier due diligence activities, including onboarding, reviews and ongoing monitoring.
  • Acting as the first escalation point for more complex CDD, PEP, sanctions and financial crime matters.
  • Building trusted relationships with Sales, Client Services, Finance and Compliance teams to ensure commercial objectives and regulatory requirements are balanced effectively.
  • Supporting clients and internal stakeholders through the due diligence process, providing practical and risk-based guidance.
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing CDD Analysts to build capability, confidence and technical expertise.
  • Producing management information, reports and insights to support effective decision-making.
  • Supporting process improvements, compliance projects and regulatory change initiatives.
  • Promoting a culture of integrity, accountability and continuous improvement across the business.

About You

  • Experience within Client Due Diligence (CDD), KYC, AML, Financial Crime or Compliance in a regulated environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to provide constructive challenge when required.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across different teams and priorities.
