We currently have an exciting opportunity for a role of Production Operator within our Bureau team at allpay on a fixed term contract for 6 months. The ideal candidate will work within a production team to deliver high quality goods within required timeframes.
As a Production Operator, you will be:
- Responsible for loading of jobs to production machinery to ensure quality of final product, this includes accurate completion of all paperwork and job sheets related to the production of goods.
- Reporting of any equipment issues.
- Recording and reporting volume of products processed on production equipment.
- Assisting in setting up of new machine profiles, ensuring machines are set to the job specifications.
- Maintaining the quality of goods produced in adherence to our branded standards.
- Monitoring departmental housekeeping.
- Adhering to allpay procedures, accreditations and standards in all areas.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Intermediate level of literacy and numeracy skills - essential.
- GCSE or equivalent grade D or above in three subjects including Mathematics and English - essential.
- Intermediate level or equivalent in Computer Skills - essential.
- Proven ability of working in teams - essential.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with other team members and managers to resolve issues - essential.
- Proven ability to work effectively to tight deadlines, under pressure, whilst obtaining a positive attitude - essential.
- To have a flexible approach in order to adapt to changing situations/priorities - essential.
- Previous experience of working in a production environment - desirable.
