About The Role Do you love all things pizza and BBQ? We are firing things up with a brand new outdoor dining experience – serving up handmade pizzas and cooking over open coals. Set to open this summer, its the latest addition to the Carriages Restaurant family, and we are on the look out for passionate chefs to join the team. Carriages Restaurant – created by the founder of allpay – is Herefordshire\’s home of fine dining, known for imaginative seasonal menus and an elegant setting. Last year we expanded with The Sidings at Carriages: a brunch cafe and farm shop set inside two beautifully converted train carriages. Now we are growing again – and we are looking for a Commis Chef and Sous Chef to come on board and help us bring this exciting new concept to life. Working 37.5 hours per week Thursday to Sunday, which offers the perfect work life balance. On top of your salary, you will get a share of the tips. The salary range for the roles is from £25,213.50 to £30,000, dependant on level of skills and experience. Training will be provided for the pizza prep/cooking. As a Chef you will be: Responsible for all opening and closing checks. Prepare and serve wood fired pizza\’s and our speciality BBQ Menu.
