About the Role
The Security Guard role here at allpay plays a pivotal part in ensuring our site and people’s safety which is of the utmost importance to us. If you have amazing customer service skills and can react quickly to changing situations then this could be the next role for you.
Within this role you will be the first port of call for all registered visitors to the site, providing a welcoming environment into the business and liaising with our internal team to facilitate their visit.
- Providing regular security checks to ensure the integrity of the site and surrounding area in line with our accreditations and escalating any issues as they arise
- Challenge any unauthorised visitors to site to ensure the necessary protocols are in place in a professional and courteous manner
- Respond to fire and intruder alarm activations or criminal activity to investigate disturbances
- Develop a fantastic understanding of our PCI DSS requirements
- Providing out of hours support as necessary for the role
- Acting as a first aider and Fire Marshall for allpay
- Taking part in the team\’s shift rota, which includes weekend hours
About You
What are we looking for you to have?
- Proven experience in a similar security role is preferable
- Full of integrity as you will be responsible for the security of our site and people
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and associated legislation
- Proven ability to be conscientious, methodical and pays attention to detail
- Agile enough to adapt to rapidly changing situations and collaborative in managing issues as they arise
- Proven effective relationship and communication skills
- Potentially a first aid certificate and be defibrillator trained (if not training will be provided)
- Proven experience using Microsoft Office
- Hold an SIA licence, preferable
