The Role & Responsibilities
You will take ownership of recruitment activities across multiple roles, working closely with Hiring Managers and external recruitment agencies. You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including handling candidate applications, coordinating shortlisting and selection, scheduling interviews, and ensuring timely feedback through to offer stage. You will also support the hiring of temporary staff during periods of high demand, prepare onboarding activities, deliver induction sessions, and provide regular recruitment updates and reporting to the wider team.
As well as recruitment you will also:
- Be responsible for co-ordinating Right to Work and Pre-employment checks.
- Manage the employee engagement platform, running analysis and reports.
- Support with the delivery of front-line HR services by providing a comprehensive administration and customer focused service in responding to different queries and tasks.
- Maintain records, files and spreadsheets in line with GDPR and the Quality Management System.
Alloyed operates across multiple sites in both Abingdon and Yarnton. You must be prepared to work flexibly across all sites according to business need. This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Head of People.
Person Profile
You don't need to be CIPD qualified but must have a good understanding of HR practices. Have a minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar role. Organised and with an eye for detail, you will be confident dealing with a wide range of tasks and build a positive relationship across the organisation. You must be able to prioritise a busy and varied workload to meet tight deadlines and maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality at all times. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering an excellent customer and candidate experience, and is keen to develop their career within a People team in a growing, innovative organisation. Must have UK Right to Work.
Essential Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook).
- Experience in managing end to end recruitment cycle.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Self‑motivated, with a strong commitment to delivering a responsive, high‑quality service and exceptional attention to detail.
- Able to manage heavy workloads, prioritise effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
- Able to work proactively and independently, while also collaborating effectively within cross‑functional teams.
- Experience of setting up and maintaining efficient HR filing systems and handling sensitive information.
- A full UK driving licence and car owner.
Full training and support will be given as needed.
Desirable Skills
- Experience of using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
