Operating from our HQ in the UK but also globally, we are building the future of advanced metal components. Our innovative approach integrates proprietary software that combines advanced machine learning and physical modelling with extensive experimental facilities, enabling us to 3D print metal components more efficiently and effectively than anyone else. Our facilities in Yarnton and Abingdon, near Oxford, are dedicated to establishing the world’s fastest, smartest, and best-equipped environment for the rapid development of additively manufactured parts and the creation of novel metal alloys for enhanced performance. We serve a variety of sectors including electronics, aerospace, and industrial by leveraging our cutting-edge technology to build businesses across diverse markets, each with unique requirements, timelines, customers, and cultures.
Role Overview
Argive, an Alloyed business, is developing a new generation of microturbine propulsion systems, leveraging additive manufacturing, advanced materials, and rapid development cycles to deliver products that challenge the performance, complexity, and cost assumptions of traditional gas turbine engines. Developing advanced propulsion systems requires close coordination between engineering, manufacturing, testing, supply chain, and customers. Hardware is being designed, built, tested, improved, and scaled in parallel, often with competing priorities and incomplete information. The Product Delivery Engineer is the bridge between Development, Test, Production, Supply Chain, and Product Management. You will support Product Owners with the planning, coordination, and execution of activities across the product lifecycle. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that day-to-day execution happens successfully, critical decisions are visible, risks are managed, and blockers are removed before they impact delivery. Working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, you will help ensure products remain aligned with customer expectations, programme objectives, and business priorities. This role is intended for an engineer with strong organisational and communication skills who is looking to broaden their experience beyond purely technical activities. The successful candidate will gain exposure to product management, project delivery, manufacturing, testing, customer engagement, and business operations.
Responsibilities
- Support Product Owners with the planning, coordination, and delivery of activities across engineering, testing, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams
- Support Product Owners and Production teams in developing and maintaining project delivery and production plans
- Coordinate the day-to-day execution against these plans within the product team, ensuring priorities are clear, actions are completed, and progress remains aligned to project objectives
- Ensure effective communication between teams, making sure that decisions and project priorities are clearly understood
- Identify and help resolve blockers, technical risks, and schedule challenges, escalating issues where appropriate to maintain delivery momentum
- Facilitate stand-ups, risk reviews, readiness reviews, and other delivery-focused meetings
- Monitor and report progress against project milestones, maintaining visibility of delivery status, risks, dependencies, and key decisions
- Support Product Owners during customer interactions, helping capture customer requirements and ensuring they remain visible throughout delivery
- Contribute to engineering problem solving by working with technical teams to identify practical solutions and coordinate implementation activities
- Support development builds and engine test campaigns, helping ensure readiness across hardware, facilities, tooling, documentation, and stakeholders
- Support the application of proportionate project management processes appropriate to the maturity and phase of each product and the pace of the business
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Argive’s programme delivery processes and quality systems, identifying opportunities to improve coordination, efficiency, and effectiveness
Essential skills
- Previous experience within an engineering, manufacturing, testing, or technology development environment
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar discipline
- Strong stakeholder management, and communication skills, and the ability to gain buy-in across teams
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a delivery focus
- Demonstrated problem-solving capability within fast-paced technical environments
- A proactive, adaptable attitude with a bias for action and willingness to take ownership of difficult challenges
Desired skills
- Experience within aerospace, propulsion, motorsport, defence, robotics, or advanced manufacturing sectors
- Experience supporting prototype builds, engine development programmes, manufacturing ramp-up activities, and test campaigns
- Exposure to systems engineering, product development, customer-facing engineering programmes, and technical stakeholder management
- Experience participating in customer-facing activities, workshops, design reviews, and project reviews
- Understanding of technology and manufacturing readiness levels, product development lifecycles, and critical path management
- Formula Student leadership experience or equivalent engineering leadership experience
