What You’ll Be Doing
We’re rapidly growing and looking for a Business Development Representative to serve our EMEA market. You will be responsible for sourcing new opportunities across our target account universe and driving the sales process from research, outreach, and qualification. This role also supports Alloy’s account‑based sales and marketing programs. As a Business Development Representative you will own clear goals and objectives and form sales and campaign strategies within one or many of the market segments listed below to drive new business and quality recurring revenue.

As a Business Development Representative, You’ll:
- Participate in or run the sales process for the early‑stage pipeline: conduct extensive research on prospects, generate leads and source contacts, communicate with and qualify potential clients; ideally you have experience pitching to technical and business audiences and building trust and mutual respect with technical customers and peers.
- Think outside the box and have outstanding interpersonal and communication/writing skills to make complex contractual, technical, and financial details more digestible.
- Balance competing priorities and prioritize multiple projects/deals at the same time; having previously sold cloud or enterprise software is a bonus.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and sales operations to understand targets and account‑based marketing strategies and goals.
- Own and consistently deliver against an opportunity target that reflects both quantity and quality, building a high‑volume pipeline of well‑qualified prospects while ensuring each opportunity meets our standards for fit, intent, and revenue potential.
Who We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of outbound experience in software or technology sales.
- Experience at SaaS companies or banking technology.
- Strong discovery skills, empathy and the ability to educate, engage and nurture targeted accounts.
- Prospecting, objection handling, and account planning skills.
- Strong communication and excellent writing skills.
- Coachability and growth mindset.
- Enterprise sales experience.
- Experience with tools such as Salesforce, Apollo and Hightspot is a plus.
- Can commute into our London office 2 days a week.
