The Role:
In this pivotal role, you will:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the Australian Industrial Refrigeration & Heat Pump marketplace
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives
- Provide market insights, including competitor activity and industry trends
- Work closely with engineering and project teams to develop designs, costings, and proposals
- Use specialist selection software to optimise equipment choices
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to determine pricing and solutions
- Manage the end‑to‑end sales process, including SFDC management, bid development, and legal reviews
- Represent the business with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity
- Ensure full compliance with Johnson Controls’ Safety and Ethics Policies
What We’re Looking For:
Ideally, you will bring:
- Experience in industrial refrigeration, including product knowledge, design, or solution sales
- A degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred but not essential)
- 3+ years Technical Sales experience
- Outstanding communication skills
- Strong negotiation abilities and a consultative approach
- Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
- The ability to build trust quickly and influence stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive, collaborative, and customer‑focused mindset
