We are looking for a Senior Client Relationship Manager (field-based role) to join our thriving and growing company, and to help us achieve our ambitious goals. The Role
This is a field-based role where you will be responsible for developing strategic relationships and partnerships, through a collaborative approach, with a focus on enhancing client experience, loyalty, retention and growth.
- Lead the development of strategic relationships with clients and senior stakeholders, ensuring long-term partnership growth and exceptional client experience.
- Oversee the mobilisation of new contracts, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding with allmanhall suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Design and deliver high-impact presentations and training programmes, ensuring content is strategically aligned with client objectives.
- Lead formal client reviews and on-site supplier meetings, ensuring insights, actions, and outcomes are captured, delegated, and completed to a high standard.
- Oversee the delivery of client training and platform support, ensuring team members are equipped to provide accurate, timely, and effective guidance.
- Identify and drive opportunities for account growth, using data-led insights and strategic planning to expand service adoption and strengthen client value.
- Provide oversight of purchasing analysis, cost-benefit reporting, and bespoke client insights, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, and strategically meaningful.
- Monitor and evaluate performance across client portfolios, leading regular review cycles and ensuring continuous improvement actions are implemented.
- Manage and negotiate client contracts, including contract terms, renewals, and signature processes, ensuring commercial alignment and timely completion.
- Maintain full visibility of client-related issues, to ensure effective resolution of client and supplier challenges.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date client data management within the CRM system, promoting best practice across the team.
- Oversee project task allocation and completion, ensuring follow-up actions from client visits and internal meetings are delivered on schedule.
- Manage supplier quality control processes for each contract, ensuring standards are upheld and issues escalated appropriately.
- Actively contribute to team leadership, supporting internal initiatives such as hospitality events, craft days, and Sales conference activities, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
The Candidate
- Proven ability to build and lead strategic relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in senior account management and/or contract management.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to persuade, influence, and engage at all levels.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication, capable of producing high-quality reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
- Strong leadership capability, with the ability to guide others, delegate effectively, and ensure high standards of delivery across the client portfolio.
- Highly proactive, solutions-focused mindset, demonstrating sound judgement, resilience, and the ability to navigate complex client and supplier challenges.
- Advanced organisational, administrative, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with experience delivering training, workshops, and strategic reviews to senior audiences.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with experience managing contract terms, renewals, and commercial discussions.
- Action-oriented and results-driven, with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes and driving continuous improvement.
- Solid understanding of catering operations and food procurement, enabling informed discussions with clients and suppliers.
- High level of IT proficiency, including confident use of CRM systems and advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Full, valid driving licence, and access to a private vehicle, as this is a field-based role.
- Experience within the food procurement, catering, or hospitality sector.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to interpret data, understand client drivers, and identify opportunities for growth and operational improvement.
- Highly motivated, passionate, and committed to excellence, with a strong desire to contribute to team success and organisational goals.
The Contract
- Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:45 – 17:15 (with an early finish on Fridays at 16:15).
- Salary: up to £55,000 per annum DOE, plus monthly car allowance, plus bonus opportunities.
- Our competitive benefits package includes 33 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays) plus an additional day of annual leave for each year of service up to 5 years/38 days pro rata, a day off for your birthday, cycle to work scheme, discounted gym membership, volunteer day leave, team socials and lots more.
- Work location: Field-based – UK. Working from the Head Office – SN13 0NY, approximately once a fortnight initially. Working from home or with clients ‘in the field’ for the majority of the time.
- Annual salary review.
