We are looking for a Client & Supplier Coordination Manager (office-based) to lead our Support Team, strengthen supplier partnerships, and ensure our clients receive timely, proactive and high-quality support, on a 12-month fixed term contract (maternity cover).

The Role

You will supervise the Support Team, ensuring cases are resolved efficiently and communication with clients and suppliers is seamless. You’ll work closely with Procurement, Buying, Client Relations and key supply partners to drive improvements, maintain SLAs, and enhance the overall client experience. You’ll also manage your own portfolio of clients, acting as their dedicated support contact and ensuring their needs are met within agreed KPIs.

Main Duties:

  • Supervise the Support Team, ensuring productivity, consistency and adherence to procedures, policies and processes.
  • Coordinate projects and activity and look for solutions to ensure client retention.
  • Manage team resource planning, including annual leave coordination, to maintain strong client cover.
  • Lead weekly case prioritisation meetings and support daily team huddles.
  • Run KPI-aligned reporting to monitor performance, including case resolution.
  • Ensure the Support Team is aware of key updates on The Pass and encourage client engagement with the platform.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support effective case resolution and SLA compliance.
  • Meet regularly with Procurement Managers to review issues, SLAs, scheduling and case progress.
  • Coordinate and chair weekly case meetings with Buying, CSAs and CRMs.
  • Lead weekly supply chain meetings with Bidfood and Buying Team representatives to review supply challenges and alternatives.
  • Ensure key messages, supply updates and product changes are communicated to clients via The Pass.

The Candidate

Essential requirements:

  • Experience in a client support, supplier management, operations or service-delivery role
  • Proven ability to lead, coach or supervise a team
  • Ability to coordinate projects across teams
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to analyse data and use reporting to drive performance
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Confidence in managing multiple stakeholders and resolving issues proactively
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on first-time resolution
  • Competent IT skills, including use of CRM or case-management systems

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience within food procurement, supply chain, hospitality or catering sectors
  • Knowledge of supplier SLAs and supply chain processes
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Experience chairing cross-functional meetings
  • Understanding of stock, product availability or supply chain challenges
  • Previous responsibility for managing client portfolios
  • Experience working with procurement, buying or commercial teams

The Contract

Fixed Term Contract: 12-months maternity cover

Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:45 – 17:15 (with an early finish on Fridays at 16:15).

Salary: up to £40k per annum DOE, plus monthly car allowance, plus bonus opportunities.
