Lived Experience Coordinator for Young People

The Lived Experience Coordinator holds a key role in embedding lived experience across Allkind.

You will support the effective functioning, visibility, and impact of the Lived Experience Young People Advisory Group, championing co-production, and engagement with young people.

This role combines operational coordination with engagement, ensuring the voices of young people are not only heard, but are also central to how we evolve as an organisation.

You will also be responsible for designing and delivering safe, age-appropriate pathways to involve young people age 16-25 years old, ensuring their insights inform our work in a meaningful, ethical, and young people centred way.

You will

  • Champion the visibility and engagement of the Lived Experience Groups (Young People and Adults) both internally and externally, actively promoting their work and encouraging wider involvement.
  • Lead the coordination and co-facilitation of meetings, including accurate minute-taking and timely distribution of decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with young people, fostering continued engagement and meaningful participation.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and uphold high standards of confidentiality around personal or sensitive information shared by service users.
  • Identify, document, and elevate safeguarding concerns in line with organisational procedures.
  • Maintain robust and organised records relating to group activity, safeguarding, and communications.
