Allium is a family‑owned renewable energy and biodiversity creation company, generating renewable power and restoring land for natural habitats. Operating in one of the fastest growing sectors of the UK, our team of 15 are expanding fast and have great development opportunities. We pride ourselves on innovation and being a market leader. Alongside renewable energy production, we run several large scale composting sites, where we recycle organic waste to produce soils and fertilisers, as well as producing biomass fuel for use in our own power plants. Everything we do is about sustainability and improving our natural environment.
The Job
We are actively seeking an enthusiastic person to support our customer services function, liaising with customers and assisting with business development, helping us enter into new agricultural markets with our sustainable land conditioners. This is a key position within the company, ideal for someone who embraces technology, has good communication skills and preferably an understanding of agriculture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound enquiries relating to waste streams and biodiversity services
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Allocate incoming tonnage to customer accounts and liaise with customers
- Support the sales pipeline and coordinate leads into the agricultural land channel
- Support marketing activity including social media content, website updates and events
- Develop organics to land offering / project management
There will also be an amount of administration to help the office team. As a company, we pride ourselves on being progressive. In‑house mentoring and training will be provided to ensure you can develop and become a valuable team member. This is a progressive role with the opportunity of career progression as we grow.
Facilities and Location
Allium site is located at Alne, near Easingwold. The site is newly built with great access, facilities, and offices.
Hours
Whilst this is a full‑time role, we are happy to discuss flexibility and flexible working.
Remuneration
The rate of pay and package is flexible to the right person, but will be between £25K and £30K per annum.
