Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you’ll take commercial responsibility for multiple residential developments, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, profitably and in line with business objectives.,
Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial aspects of multiple residential developments
- Prepare and manage site start budgets and cost plans
- Produce valuations, forecasts, cost reports and cash flow projections
- Lead subcontract procurement and tender processes
- Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations and payments
- Monitor project budgets, identifying risks and opportunities
- Provide commercial input into land acquisitions and value engineering opportunities
- Support regional financial planning and strategic commercial initiatives
- Resolve commercial and contractual issues while protecting business interests
- Mentor and develop junior members of the commercial team

We’re interested in hearing from experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors or established Quantity Surveyors ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll ideally have:
- Significant quantity surveying experience within housebuilding or residential development
- Strong cost planning, procurement and subcontract management expertise
- Excellent commercial awareness and financial reporting skills
- Experience managing multiple developments simultaneously
- The ability to build strong relationships across a range of stakeholders
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members
- HNC, HND or Degree level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline
- Full UK driving licence
Professional membership of RICS, or working towards membership, would be advantageous.
