This is a key site-based leadership role responsible for managing the day-to-day construction activities on one of our new housing developments in the East regional operational area. The Senior Site Manager will ensure homes are delivered safely, on time, to budget and to the high standards Allison Homes are known for. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced construction professional to contribute to the success of our growing regional business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the construction process from pre-start to handover, managing and motivating site teams and subcontractors to deliver excellence.
- Enforce H&S policies, CDM regulations, and statutory requirements, conducting audits and acting as senior H&S lead.
- Ensure builds meet NHBC, Building Regulations, and internal standards, driving a \”right first time\” culture.
- Monitor build programmes, control budgets, and coordinate procurement to achieve milestones efficiently.
- Work closely with Sales, Technical, and Commercial teams to ensure smooth workflows and resolve issues promptly.
- Champion customer care from build to post-handover, ensuring swift resolution of issues and a positive homeowner experience.
- Support staff training, coaching, and development through platforms like \’WeMatter\’ to build high-performing teams.
What you will bring
- NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management, HNC/HND, SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), First Aid, Fire Marshall, Scaffolding Awareness, LOLER, and full UK driving licence.
- Extensive senior site management experience in residential housebuilding, delivering multi-plot developments on time, within budget, and to high standards.
- Strong understanding of NHBC requirements, Building Regulations, and commercial budget control.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills; proactive, adaptable, and highly organised.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; COINS experience advantageous.
