Job Summary: Leading the delivery of the operational resilience and outsourcing framework, including oversight and reporting.

Job Duties:

  • Work closely with chief operating officer (COO) and legal and compliance (L&C) team to understand the operational requirements and implement a framework that will deliver demonstrable compliance with regulations for operational resilience (OR) and outsourcing (OS).
  • Work closely with COO and L&C to devise and maintain reporting frameworks that ensure compliance with OR and OS requirements.
  • Produce internal committee and board reporting detailing progress in complying with OR and OS requirements.
  • Maintain OS registers for each European legal entity ensuring that all required documents are held and reviewed periodically as required.
  • Co-ordinate oversight activities in line with the framework, via the outsourcing working group and operational resilience forum.
  • Maintain all supporting documents for OR ensuring that they are reviewed periodically as required.
  • Work with colleagues in the operations team to improve processes around current external reporting.
  • Co-ordinate timely submission of regulatory reporting, as required.

Person Specification:

  • A bachelor's degree or other tertiary insurance related qualification.
  • It is essential that you have strong communication skills as this role will require extensive dealings with underwriting teams and senior management.
  • Experience working in the insurance industry ideally with exposure to Lloyds market.
  • Proficient with all standard Microsoft applications.
  • Highly analytical with problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
