Job Duties
- Model D & F accounts for the Allied World London Branch and Lloyd\’s syndicate.
- Assess data quality, interpret modelling results and provide guidance to Underwriters as required
- Monitor and report on accumulations; assist in corporate and syndicate reporting
- Assist in projects to improve the catastrophe modelling workflow, automate processes and increase operational efficiencies
- Conduct model evaluations and sensitivity testing for specific regions / perils
- Help manage the vendor relationship for outsourced data cleansing services
Job Requirements
- Strong technical training in mathematics, computer science, engineering, physical science or related field
- Five to ten years\’ catastrophe modelling experience, with a focus on D&F modelling preferred
- In-depth knowledge of AIR Touchstone
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel; experience SQL or other Programming languages preferred
- Detail-orientated with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
