Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries from Brokers / Intermediaries in a courteous and helpful manner ensuring that all information to enable the underwriting of any risk is obtained and communicated.
  • Prepare and issue invoices, policy documents and update client records.
  • Share responsibility for dealing with any actions attaching to existing clients on mid-term adjustments and claims, occasionally referring such matters to senior colleagues.
  • Assist ceding Brokers / Intermediaries with claims notification procedures, or in the event of Policy Holders making a direct enquiry, by directing them to the appropriate Claims Management partner and/or help line.
  • Respond to claim enquiries from ceding Brokers / Intermediaries, or in the event of a direct enquiry from a Policy Holder(s), insurers(s) and third parties received by phone, letter, or e-mail in a courteous and helpful manner and ensure all information required is obtained and communicated.
  • Ensure files and system records are annotated where applicable in respect of notified claim(s) and/or updates.
  • Maintain accuracy of data input.
  • Handle complaints.
  • Ensure promptness in returning telephone calls.
