Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform account analysis according to the underwriting guidelines in order to assist the team in underwriting a complex international Healthcare portfolio.
- Authorizing of quotes, binders and invoices in accordance with own authority and company guidelines.
- Liaison with other LOB in order to enhance the Healthcare offering.
- Corresponding with brokers with respect to outstanding information pursuant to binding.
- Maintenance of underwriting files in an orderly manner and in accordance with the underwriting guidelines.
- Attend client/broker meetings, lunches, dinners and other social outings as applicable.
- Providing service and support to existing policyholders.
- Management of internal services and third-party partners to ensure our clients benefit from the full suite of AW benefits.
Person Specification:
- 3 years of industry experience – Healthcare preferred but not essential.
- Must be articulate and personable as there will be significant dealings with clients and brokers including attendance and presentations at meetings.
- Basic marketing, negotiation and presentation skills but with a clear aptitude to develop such.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative manner.
- Language skills an advantage but not essential.
