Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to inquiries from Brokers / Intermediaries in a courteous and helpful manner, ensuring that all information to enable the underwriting of any risk is obtained and communicated.
  • Preparing and issuing invoices, policy documents, and updating client records.
  • Sharing responsibility for dealing with any actions attaching to existing clients on mid-term adjustments and claims, occasionally referring such matters to senior colleagues.
  • Assisting ceding Brokers / Intermediaries with claims notification procedures, or directing Policy Holders making a direct enquiry to the appropriate Claims Management partner and/or help line.
  • Responding to claim enquiries from ceding Brokers / Intermediaries, or in the event of a direct enquiry from a Policy Holder(s), insurers(s) and third parties received by phone, letter, or e-mail in a courteous and helpful manner, ensuring all information required is obtained and communicated.
  • Ensuring files and system records are annotated where applicable in respect of notified claim(s) and/or updates.
  • Maintaining accuracy of data input.
  • Handling complaints.
  • Promptness in returning telephone calls.
