Responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with the Head of Business Development to support the Allied World European Distribution Strategy.
  • Developing Key Broker relationships and identifying growth opportunities within appetite across Open Market and Portfolio Solutions.
  • Supporting and developing the approach to Client Management across multiple lines of business.
  • Leveraging data and analytics to drive and support Broker performance and Business growth initiatives including Pipelining and Cross Sell.
  • Providing visibility for Broker Facility opportunities and supporting tender responses.
  • Tracking Industry news and M&A activity.
  • Working closely with colleagues in the London, Manchester, Dublin offices to fully understand appetite and embed Business Development.
  • Connecting with Business Development & Distribution colleagues globally to stay aligned on Broker engagement/performance and share best practice.
  • Coordinating Underwriters engagement with broker pipelining and cross sell tools, including levels of usage and ensuring regular training undertaken.
  • Maintaining and evolving the European Distribution Sharepoint page to provide colleagues with access to market intelligence and broker insights.
  • Creating and driving project ideas to support Business Development efforts.
  • Working with the MI and Data team to continuously review and develop Business Development MI and Dashboards.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team – Content, Announcements, Events, Conferences.

  • Strong account/relationship management experience.
  • Highly organised with planning and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement.
