Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform account analysis according to the underwriting guidelines in order to assist the team in underwriting a complex international Healthcare portfolio.
  • Authorising of quotes, binders and invoices in accordance with own authority and company guidelines.
  • Liaison with other LOB in order to enhance the Healthcare offering.
  • Corresponding with brokers with respect to outstanding information pursuant to binding.
  • Maintenance of underwriting files in an orderly manner and in accordance with the underwriting guidelines.
  • Attend client/broker meetings, lunches, dinners and other social outings as applicable.
  • Providing service and support to existing policyholders.
  • Management of internal services and third-party partners to ensure our clients benefit from the full suite of AW benefits.

Person Specification:

  • 3 years of industry experience – Healthcare preferred but not essential.
  • Must be articulate and personable as there will be significant dealings with clients and brokers including attendance and presentations at meetings.
  • Basic marketing, negotiation and presentation skills but with a clear aptitude to develop such.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise work.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative manner.
  • Language skills an advantage but not essential.
