Allied Vehicles, Fix Auto Wigan are hiring for a Valeter to join our award-winning team. You will carry out duties allied to processing and delivery of vehicles in a clean and acceptable condition after completion of repair work. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm and the salary is £13.13 per hour. This position provides an excellent opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking and dedicated company.

The main duties of the role are:
- Clean vehicles in line with company standards with the appropriate materials.
- Ascertain job requirements from the job card/estimate.
- Complete all company documentation.
- Report all vehicle faults to the supervisor.
- Clean upholstery and carpets when required.
- Use and maintain company tools and equipment in a safe, clean and workable condition.
- Comply with all legislation respecting the control of hazardous substances and control of organic solvents.
To be effective in this role, you will have:
- Knowledge of safe working practices e.g. working safely with cleaning materials.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Previous experience of driving and cleaning vehicles.
- Good attention to detail.
