In addition to manufacturing vehicles, we also offer a range of aftersales services (onsite and mobile), including servicing, repairs and maintenance and we are Scotland’s largest independent parts distributor. We are now recruiting for a Security Guard to join our facilities department. You will carry out duties allied to the security of Allied Vehicles ltd premises. Hours of work are between Monday – Sunday, 6pm – 7am and the salary is £13.45 per hour. This position provides an excellent opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking and dedicated company.

The main duties of the role:

  • Checking that all equipment, keys and registers required during the shift are available, reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Ensure that the company premises are always secure, referring to emergency call out procedures as necessary.
  • Record any significant events during the shift in the security log.
  • Ensure that hourly patrols are operated in line with company policy.
  • Not permitting any person or vehicle onto the site without prior authority from management.

To be effective in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in security type role.
  • A UK drivers licence.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
