In addition to manufacturing vehicles, we also offer a range of aftersales services (onsite and mobile), including servicing, repairs and maintenance and we are Scotland’s largest independent parts distributor. We are now recruiting for a Panel Beater to join our Bodyshop. You will carry out a professional and efficient Panel Beating service to all Accident and Repair Centre (ARC) customers, whilst paying particular attention to all relevant Health and Safety requirements. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4pm and the salary is up to £80k OTE, dependent on experience. The main duties of the role are:

  • As per job card remove, replace or repair car body panels, including, bonnet, wings, doors, bumpers and lamps.
  • Re-fit new or repaired car body panels, including, bonnet, wings, doors, bumpers and lamps.
  • Alignment and re-fit of renewed body panels.
  • Various welding duties, which will encompass, MIG, Spot and Brazening welding techniques.
  • Re-alignment of chassis damage.
  • Replacement of damaged chassis.
  • All filling work to be undertaken as and when required in the repair of body panels.

To be effective in this role, you will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair.
  • Previous experience in a Panel Beater role.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
