Our business operates across multiple channels: in-store, field sales, online, call centre, after-sales support, logistics, and stock management. You will diagnose, repair and service a range of mobility products and equipment, including powerchairs, wheelchairs, rise recliner chairs and mobility beds. You will also deliver, install and demonstrate these products to our customers whilst providing excellent customer service. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm and the salary is £13.67 per hour. This position provides an excellent opportunity to become part of a forward‑thinking and dedicated company.

The main duties of the role are:

  • Unpacking, assembling and testing of new products and equipment prior to sale.
  • Diagnosing and repairing all manner of mobility equipment.
  • Undertaking product servicing in line with manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Using the tools/software provided by manufacturers and Allied to ensure productive and efficient repair times.
  • Delivering and installing products in customer’s homes including product demonstrations and providing guidance on the safe use of the equipment.
  • Ad‑hoc delivery/collection requests.
  • Discussing any issues with customers and providing assistance over the phone.

To be effective in this role, you will have:

  • Experience of electrical/mechanical product repairs and maintenance.
  • General electrical/mechanical engineering knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good geographical knowledge.
  • A Driving licence is essential for this role.
