At Allied Vehicles we design, develop, and manufacture a wide range of specialist vehicles, including wheelchair accessible vehicles, taxis, and minibuses. In addition to manufacturing vehicles, we also offer a range of aftersales services (onsite and mobile), including servicing, repairs and maintenance and we are Scotland’s largest independent parts distributor. We are now recruiting for Mobility Advisor to join our Sales Mobility department.
You will handle inbound calls from customers looking to order a wheelchair accessible vehicle and outbound calls to existing customers to renew their lease. Working hours run Monday to Thursday from 8.45am to 6pm, and Friday from 9am to 5pm. There is also a rotating Saturday shift from 9am to 5pm, occurring once every 4–6 weeks. When scheduled for a Saturday shift, the preceding Friday becomes a non‑working day. The salary is circa £27k per annum + bonus. Responsibilities
- Answering inbound calls from mobility customers who are interested in buying a new wheelchair accessible vehicle, asking qualification questions, and offering the best solution tailored to their needs, generating leads for our field sales team.
- Courtesy calling existing customers who are 3-6 months away from renewing their lease and looking to start the renewal process.
- Follow up enquiries with customers who have not decided to have a demonstration yet.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly targets to maximise all sales opportunities.
Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Previous sales experience, ideally within a call centre environment.
- Ability to empathise.
- Previous experience of selling disability products and services would be advantageous but is not essential.
