The Opportunity: We are looking for a Health, Safety and Compliance Coordinator to join our Health and Safety team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual looking to develop their career in health and safety by supporting the delivery of safe working practices. You’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of Allied Vehicles' Health, Safety and Compliance objectives through the co-ordination of inspections, audits, risk assessment activities, incident reporting, management system administration and continuous improvement initiatives. Hours of work are Monday – Friday, 8am – 4.30pm and the salary is £13.45 per hour.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Conduct workplace inspections and safety tours, documenting findings and following up actions.
  • Monitor actions arising from inspections, audits, incidents and investigations, escalating overdue actions where appropriate.
  • Support accident, incident and near-miss reporting and investigation processes.
  • Gain experience in wider compliance, quality and management system activities to support ongoing professional development.

About You: To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

  • Good understanding of the importance of Health, Safety and Compliance within a business environment.
  • Experience gained through employment, internships, placements, graduate programmes or other relevant roles.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
  • Experience working as part of a team and building positive working relationships.
