At Allied Vehicles we design, develop, and manufacture a wide range of specialist vehicles, including wheelchair accessible vehicles, taxis, and minibuses.

In addition to manufacturing vehicles, we also offer a range of aftersales services (onsite and mobile), including servicing, repairs and maintenance and we are Scotland’s largest independent parts distributor.

We are now recruiting for a Delivery Driver/Stores Assistant to join our Mobility Solutions team.

You will deliver, assemble, install, demonstrate and handover Mobility Solutions products to customers.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm and the salary is £12.60 per hour + bonus.

The main duties of the role are:

  • Delivering customer orders
  • Collect and redeliver products and courtesy products to customers
  • Collect products from dealerships and return to base
  • Allocate stock/parts to correct bin locations
  • Ensure all stock is labelled before being replenished on the shop floor
  • Assist with loading parts/stock to delivery vans
  • Ensure that the department and warehouse is kept clean, tidy, and safe
  • Maintain delivery fleet ensuring all vehicles are clean, tidy and safe to operate

To be effective in this role, you will have:

  • Good geographical knowledge of Scotland
  • Previous experience of working in a driving role, preferably within a stores/parts environment
  • Excellent customer service skills

A full driving licence is essential for this role.
