At Allied Vehicles we design, develop, and manufacture a wide range of specialist vehicles, including wheelchair accessible vehicles, taxis, and minibuses. In addition to manufacturing vehicles, we also offer a range of aftersales services (onsite and mobile), including servicing, repairs and maintenance and we are Scotland’s largest independent parts distributor. We are now recruiting for an Administrator to join our Production department. You will carry out duties aligned to the smooth running of the Production administration department, and to provide full administration support to Production leadership team and management.

Hours of work are Monday – Wednesday, 7am – 6pm and Thursday 7am – 5.30pm and the salary is £13.45 + bonus. This position provides an excellent opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking and dedicated company.

The main duties of the role are:

  • Carry out general administration duties to assist in the smooth running of the Production department.
  • Run daily efficiency reports and update spreadsheets, along with labour reconciliation.
  • Invoice vehicles and check variances.
  • Make up, scan and check vehicle packs daily.

To be effective in this role, you will have:

  • Knowledge of best practice administration systems.
  • Strong planning and organising skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience of working in the manufacturing industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
