Vehicle Technician (£5K SIGN ON BONUS)

Allied Vehicles Limited, a leading multi-brand specialist in servicing and accident repair, is seeking talented individuals to join our award-winning, dynamic team. If you\’re passionate about cars and enjoy a fast-paced environment, this is the place for you!

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with an additional 4 hours on a Saturday on a rotational basis (roughly every 1 in 7).

Salary: Starting from £43,758 with a time saved efficiency bonus. Plus, a £5,000 sign-on bonus for new employees, payable as £2,500 after 3 months and £2,500 after 12 months.

Main Duties:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles, adhering to standard job times.
• Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA guidelines (if certified).
• Specialize in diagnostics, identifying root causes, and executing repairs.
• Enhance technical skills through on-site training, supplier and manufacturer courses, and reviewing technical bulletins.
• Communicate with customers professionally about vehicle issues.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health and safety compliance.
• Complete vehicle condition reports and job cards accurately.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience, and the ability to diagnose and repair complex automotive issues. You should hold a Level 3 SVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
