At Allied Vehicles we design, develop, and manufacture a wide range of specialist vehicles, including wheelchair accessible vehicles, taxis, and minibuses.

In addition to manufacturing vehicles, we also offer a range of aftersales services (onsite and mobile), including servicing, repairs and maintenance and we are Scotland’s largest independent parts distributor.

We are now recruiting for a Valeter/Driver to join our Sales Team.

You will be responsible for ensuring company vehicles are in a clean and roadworthy condition.

Hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5pm and the salary is £12.60 per hour.

The main duties of the role are:

  • To drive vehicles in a safe and lawful manner
  • Report all vehicle faults
  • Clean vehicles in line with Company standards with the appropriate materials, including cleaning upholstery and carpets when required
  • Maintain Company vehicles in a clean and roadworthy condition
  • Handle any customer facing situations in a professional manner
  • Contribute to the overall housekeeping standards within the workplace

To be effective in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience of cleaning and preparing vehicles.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong organisational and time-keeping skills.
