At Allied Vehicles we design, develop, and manufacture a wide range of specialist vehicles, including wheelchair accessible vehicles, taxis, and minibuses.

In addition to manufacturing vehicles, we also offer a range of aftersales services (onsite and mobile), including servicing, repairs and maintenance and we are Scotland’s largest independent parts distributor.

We are now recruiting for a Valeter to join our Bodyshop department.

You will carry out those duties related to the processing and delivery of vehicles in a clean and acceptable condition after completion of repair work.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm and the salary is £12.98 per hour.

The Main Duties Of The Role Are

  • Clean vehicles in line with company standards with the appropriate materials.
  • Ascertain job requirements from the job card/estimate.
  • Complete all company documentation.
  • Report all vehicle faults to the supervisor.
  • Clean upholstery and carpets when required.
  • Use and maintain company tools and equipment in a safe, clean and workable condition.
  • Comply with all legislation respecting the control of hazardous substances and control of organic solvents.

To Be Effective In This Role, You Will Have

  • Previous experience driving and cleaning vehicles.
  • Knowledge of safe working practices e.g working safely with cleaning materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
