We’re looking for a reliable and hands‑on Production Assembler to join our Pre‑Production team at Allied Vehicles in Glasgow. Working as part of a close‑knit team, you’ll build and assemble specialist vehicle components, ensuring everything meets our high‑quality standards. In this role, you’ll be building and assembling vehicle components as part of a fast‑paced production environment, working closely with your team to meet daily targets and quality standards.

At Allied Vehicles, we design, develop and manufacture a wide range of specialist vehicles, including wheelchair accessible vehicles, taxis and minibuses. We also provide aftersales services and are Scotland’s largest independent parts distributor. We’re a fast‑paced, family‑run business where teamwork, quality and continuous improvement are at the heart of what we do. Enjoy long weekends every week, with our 4‑day working week! Hours of work are Monday‑Wednesday, 7am‑6pm and Thursday 7am‑5.30pm with the salary of £13.45 per hour plus a weekly bonus (earning up to £40 per week).

The Main Duties Of The Role Are

  • Read and follow mechanical drawings and SOPs.
  • Assemble components using hand and air tools.
  • Work to production targets while maintaining quality standards.
  • Keep tools and work area safe, clean and organised.
  • Complete required documentation.
