At Allied Vehicles we design, develop, and manufacture a wide range of specialist vehicles, including wheelchair accessible vehicles, taxis, and minibuses. In addition to manufacturing vehicles, we also offer a range of aftersales services (onsite and mobile), including servicing, repairs and maintenance and we are Scotland's largest independent parts distributor. We are now recruiting for a Van Driver to join our Parts Hub in Aberdeen. You will be responsible for delivering parts to customers and assisting with promotion of parts sales and identifying new market opportunities. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm and the salary is £12.98 per hour + bonus. This position provides an excellent opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking and dedicated company.

The Main Duties Of The Role Are
- Deliver parts according to the routine delivery schedules and in response to ad hoc requests, ensuring that all deliveries are made by agreed times.
- Maintain a record of all van sales.
- Maximise parts sales and be aware of new business opportunities.
- Collect parts, where necessary, from other suppliers.
- Receive payment or charge to account items delivered to customers.
- Handle customer enquiries swiftly, courteously and efficiently.
- Check parts returns against customer return sheet prior to collection and return to hub.
To Be Effective In This Role, You Will Have
- Good geographical knowledge of Scotland.
- Previous experience of working in a driving role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A Driving Licence Is Essential For This Role.
