Job Description

Security Officer Unarmed - Manufacturing Facility in Darlington, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. You will provide outstanding customer service while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Support security-related operations by communicating professionally with site personnel and documenting incidents, observations, and access-control activity.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
