As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role in Darlington, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and media location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thu 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report security‑related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and/or other assigned posts, assist with visitor directions and badge‑related procedures, and support security‑related operations in accordance with site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
