As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Night in Darlington, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and media location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

  • Mon: 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Tue: 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Fri: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
  • Sat: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
  • Sun: 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by site policy, and report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support day-to-day operations by assisting with visitor directions, monitoring for security-related concerns around equipment and work areas, and following post orders for assigned patrol routes and reporting tasks.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
