As a Security Officer - Media Campus Patrol in Darlington, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer, where you will monitor and patrol designated tech, media, or telecom locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure environment, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor the location for unusual or suspicious activity, and report findings according to site procedures.
- Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering the location.
- Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address inquiries and provide assistance.
- Document incidents and observations in daily activity reports as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
- Support the overall security-related operations at the location, adapting to the unique needs of a tech, media, and telecom environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
