You will manage access control, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and follows AU Driver Policy Requirements. Position Details- Position Type: Part Time
- Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour
- Job Schedule: DayTime Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document access activity to help support authorized movement throughout the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and key access points, with attention to production areas, loading zones, parking areas, and other security-related conditions that may vary by location.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
