Job Description

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and patrol assigned areas to help support a secure environment. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Daytime, Mon 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Sun 04:00 PM – 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor processing, and document security-related activity involving personnel, deliveries, and/or vendors.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of communication when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, administrative spaces, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Support site operations by maintaining accurate logs, reporting maintenance and/or access concerns, and communicating professionally with staff and visitors regarding post instructions.
Minimum Requirements
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
