As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations as needed, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Job Schedule: Tue 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM, Thur 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM, Sat 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or authorized personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as directed, and document visitor activity, patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports.
- Maintain required firearms qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, site procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
