Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 12:00 PM - 07:00 PM, Tue 12:00 PM - 07:00 PM, Wed 12:00 PM - 07:00 PM, Thur 12:00 PM - 07:00 PM, Fri 12:00 PM - 07:00 PM
What You’ll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening visitors, verifying identification and credentials, and supporting access control activities at entry points and restricted areas.
- Monitor gates, entrances, and/or assigned access points, document arrivals and departures, and help to deter unauthorized entry through consistent application of post orders and location policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations and/or concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
- Support vehicle and pedestrian screening processes, maintain required logs and reports, and provide directions and assistance to employees, visitors, and authorized contractors.
Minimum Requirements:
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
