Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.57 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Sat 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM, Sun 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, as conditions vary by site.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, loitering, and/or disruptive behavior while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Support hospital and clinic operations by assisting with visitor directions, incident reporting, and other security‑related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
