Job Schedule:

  • Mon: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
  • Tue: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
  • Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
  • Thu: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical support calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and support visitor and staff movement in accordance with post orders, use-of-force guidelines, and Allied Universal standards.
  • Assist with de-escalation, emergency notifications, and coordination with local law enforcement and/or first responders when needed, while maintaining professionalism and clear communication.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an armed guard card/license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma/GED.
  • Guard card/license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
