Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

  • DayTime Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or operational concerns according to site protocols.
  • Support facility operations by observing equipment and material areas for security-related issues, assisting with incident reporting, and following post orders during routine activities and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
