Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Guard in Sanria, ON Canada.

Job Title: Security Guard

Job Location: Sanria, ON

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay Rate: $21.26 per hour

Shifts: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri and Sat; Various Shifts

Requirement

  • Familiarity with access control systems and alarm .
  • Must be at least 25 years old.
  • Experience with report writing and note-taking.
  • Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
  • Valid Ontario security guard license
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada upto 24hours per week.
  • Must have a valid G class drivers license and a clean abstract.
  • First Aid and CPR - Level C is mandatory.
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions

  • Access control for the facility/area
  • Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
  • Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
  • Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.
  • Ensure that the facility's safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
  • Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
  • Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
  • Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.
  • Perform in-car/vehicle patrols
