Are you an experienced Chartered Residential Surveyor looking for greater flexibility and autonomy than a traditional corporate role? We currently have a number of opportunities available within Allied Surveyors & Valuers, to undertake a varied and technically interesting workload while retaining flexibility over your working pattern and the volume of instructions accepted.
The arrangement could suit an experienced surveyor seeking a full workload, someone wishing to work part-time, or an individual looking to achieve a better balance between professional and personal commitments.
The current opportunities are as follows:
- A Regional Valuation Lead role covering Swindon, Wiltshire and the surrounding area, offering the opportunity to undertake a varied professional workload while helping develop and shape the regional business.
- A consultancy role covering East and Central Berkshire and surrounding areas, offering greater flexibility over working pattern, workload and availability, and potentially suiting either a full-time or part-time surveyor.
- A Regional Valuation Lead role covering Leicester and the East Midlands area, offering the opportunity to carry out residential investment valuations, mortgage valuations, Level 2 reports, and other professional work.
- A Regional Valuation Lead role with a varied General Practice, but primarily Mortgage Valuations and Level 2 Survey work. Supported by a fully resourced office covering Hull postcodes but also offering a great potential for a motivated individual to develop the York and North Yorkshire catchment.
These are home-based roles with the workload expected to include a mixture of:
- Residential mortgage valuations;
- Home surveys;
- Red Book valuations;
- Private client instructions; and
- Other residential valuation and surveying work suited to the consultant’s experience.
The volume and type of work can be tailored to suit the individual. There is no requirement for these to be conventional full-time roles, and applications are welcomed from surveyors seeking either a substantial regular workload or a more flexible part-time arrangement.
There may also be opportunities to develop local professional relationships and contribute to the continued growth of each Allied Surveyors practice.
You will be MRICS or FRICS qualified, an RICS Registered Valuer, and experienced in residential valuation and surveying work. You will be technically competent, commercially aware and comfortable managing your own diary and workload. You should be capable of working independently while also engaging constructively with a supportive and experienced regional team.
Remuneration will depend on the role, experience and workload undertaken, with anticipated earnings in the region of £60,000 to £90,000+ per annum.
Applications and informal discussions are welcomed in confidence. We appreciate that changing roles or moving into consultancy is an important decision and are happy to have an initial confidential conversation before any formal application. We aim to acknowledge all applications within five working days.
