Stone Mason – Luton Location: Luton Job Type: Full-time Salary: Competitive, depending on experience About the Role Allied site services are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Stone Mason to join our team in Luton. We are looking for someone with strong practical masonry skills who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out stone masonry, repairs, restoration and general masonry work across a range of projects. Key Responsibilities * Carry out stone masonry and restoration work to a high standard. * Cut, shape and lay stone accurately. * Complete repointing, repairs and maintenance work. * Prepare and mix mortar and other materials. * Read and work from drawings and specifications. * Use masonry hand tools and power tools safely. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment. * Work effectively as part of a team or independently. * Follow all company and site health & safety procedures. Requirements * Previous experience as a Stone Mason is essential. * Good knowledge of masonry techniques and materials. * Strong attention to detail and quality. * Reliable, hardworking and punctual. * Good understanding of health and safety on construction sites. * Ability to work outdoors and undertake physically demanding work. * Relevant qualifications or CSCS card would be advantageous.
