Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning and estimating functions across pre-construction and live project stages. You will play a key role in developing, reviewing, and maintaining project programmes to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain construction programmes using industry-standard planning software
- Support pre-construction and tendering activities, including programme development and methodology input
- Work alongside the estimating team on precon activities
- Monitor project progress, update schedules, and report on performance
- Identify risks, delays, and opportunities, providing mitigation strategies
- Liaise with project managers, commercial teams, and clients
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and company procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in planning within the construction or civil engineering sector
- Strong background in pre-construction and estimating support
- Proficiency with planning software (e.g., Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, or similar)
