Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning and estimating functions across pre-construction and live project stages. You will play a key role in developing, reviewing, and maintaining project programmes to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain construction programmes using industry-standard planning software
  • Support pre-construction and tendering activities, including programme development and methodology input
  • Work alongside the estimating team on precon activities
  • Monitor project progress, update schedules, and report on performance
  • Identify risks, delays, and opportunities, providing mitigation strategies
  • Liaise with project managers, commercial teams, and clients
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines and company procedures

  • Proven experience in planning within the construction or civil engineering sector
  • Strong background in pre-construction and estimating support
  • Proficiency with planning software (e.g., Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, or similar)
